Arlene Burris Memorial Scholarship

The Arlene Burris Memorial Scholarship is available to graduate students in the Atlantic Provinces who are Deaf or hard of hearing.

Deadline: May 1st annually 

The DHH (Deaf or Hard of Hearing) Trust Fund, funded by the Interprovincial School Development Association (ISDA), is used for student bursaries, scholarships, and awards; research; and staff professional development. The DHH Trust Fund Committee determines the allocation of funds to qualified applicants. 

Criteria

  • A person studying in any field that will prepare them to work with children who are Deaf or hard of hearing OR A graduate who is Deaf or hard of hearing for post-secondary study
  • A resident of the Atlantic Provinces
