The Jim & Elizabeth Ottley Award is a non-renewable scholarship available to disabled students continuing their undergraduate program at the University of Regina.

There is a another website called Scholarship Canada and they have updated information for the Jim & Elizabeth Ottley Award. They say that for the 2020-2021 school year the Deadline is September 30th 2020 and they also say that the amount is $2800 and the number available is 1.

Criteria
The award will be presented to a University of Regina undergraduate student who meets the following criteria:
- Enrolled in any degree program
- Minimum undergraduate grade point average (UGPA) of 70%
- Registered and remains registered in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the semester the award is presented
- Registered with the Centre for Student Accessibility
- Demonstrated financial need
Some things to Note:
- This is not a nonrenewable award
- You don’t need to be a Canadian Citizen but need to be a resident
- It does not matter if you are female, male, indigenous, a single parent, Athletic, or a mature student the only thing that matters is you need to be disabled/ have a disability.
How to Apply
You must log into SAMS as a registered user to apply for awards. Once you are logged in, you can apply using the online application by selecting “Apply for Award” from the “Other Actions” box in the top right corner of each award page.
Students are strongly encouraged to apply using the online application in SAMS. However, paper applications are available on the SAFA website.
