Canadian Council of the Blind Bursary

The Canadian Council of the Blind Bursary is awarded annually to one or more blind or visually impaired students at Carleton University.

Deadline: October 31st annually

Endowed in 2006 by the Canadian Council of the Blind.

Criteria

Eligible applicants must:

  • be registered with the Paul Menton Centre (PMC)
  • be in good academic standing
  • demonstrate financial need
  • be Canadian Citizens or permanent residents of Canada (landed immigrant or a protected person) 
  • meet the OSAP Ontario Residency requirements

How to Apply

  • Fill out Carleton’s Canadian Council for the Blind Bursary application 
  • Submit the application directly to Carleton Awards and Financial Aid at awards@carleton.ca
  • Must be able to demonstrate through a brief submission how this bursary, if awarded, would assist you in furthering the goals of the Canadian Council of the Blind within the Carleton community
