Encouraging and supporting post-secondary students is the reason many donors have turned to the Community Foundation of PEI. While the goals of the resulting student awards vary, all of them have a common goal – to help Island students as they pursue their learning goals. In some cases these scholarships support graduates of a specific high school, college, university, or program, while others focus on a loved one’s special interests or a student cause close to someone’s heart.

A complete list of available scholarships, as well as the eligibility criteria for each can be found in the application portal. Applicants are encouraged to apply for any and all scholarships provided they meet the outlined criteria.

Criteria

Varies by scholarship: eligibility criteria for each can be found in the CFPEI Scholarship Application Portal when applications open.

How to Apply

Applications are accepted online only and must be submitted through the CFPEI Scholarship Application Portal. New users (and existing users who are using the new portal for the first time in 2023) must create an account to complete the registration process.

All supporting documents must be submitted on/before the deadline for applications to be marked complete. Incomplete applications will be removed from consideration. Application materials, including supporting documentation, varies by scholarship.

Applicants will be notified of the status of their application, regardless of whether or not they are successful, once decisions have been made. Should you not receive an email, be sure to check your junk/spam folder.
