John Teuscher Memorial Scholarship

The John Teuscher Memorial Scholarship is available to a student at Carleton University with a learning disability.

Amount: up to $5900

Number Available: varies

Applications Open: June 1st annually

Deadline: October 31st annually

Endowed in 2000 by family and friends of Jonathan Brant Teuscher, B.A. 1999 to honour his legacy. While at Carleton, John touched the lives of many students in his capacity as a volunteer and active participant in student affairs.

Criteria

Recipients must:

  • have a learning disability
  • returning to Carleton University for another term
  • have been involved in student life
  • be a Canadian citizen

Awarded on the recommendation of the Paul Menton Centre

Preference will be given to a student enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

How to Apply

  • Fill out the John Teuscher Memorial Scholarship application form
  • Provide a brief account describing how you have been involved in student life and how you feel connected to Carleton University
    • Attach this as a Word document if applying by e-mail, or drop off a printed copy or audio file to the Awards and Financial Aid office at Carleton University (202 Roberston Hall)
  • Submit the application directly to Carleton Awards and Financial Aid at awards@carleton.ca or by mail to the address listed on the application form
