The Phyllis Davidson Easter Seals Scholarship is available to Canadian students with permanent physical disabilities that require the use of mobility aids.
Amount: $20,000; divided into $5000 increments per academic year over four (4) years

Criteria
In order to be considered eligible for the above scholarship, students must be:
- a resident of Alberta;
- demonstrative of a a physical disability that requires a mobility aid (e.g., wheelchair, walker, or power scooter);
- accepted or currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution in Alberta;
- pursuing, or in pursuit of an academic or professional program that leads to a diploma or degree;
- taking at least two courses per semester;
Selection may be based on academic achievement or financial need.

Along with the completed application form, applicants must also submit:
- one (1) nominating letter of reference describing the reasons the applicant would be a worthy recipient of the scholarship. This application should highlight contributions to the community, academic achievements, and other accomplishments;
- one (1) letter of reference from a teacher at the applicant’s school or from an individual who is familiar with the applicant’s community service;
- a one (1) page typed essay of goals and the role education will play in achieving those goals, along with why funding is required to meet those goals;
- an up-to-date, certified academic transcript
