Québec Perspective Scholarships

Québec Perspective scholarships are offered to full-time students in Québec who are completing an eligible program at the college or university level.

Amount:

  • $1500 at the college level
  • $2500 at the university level

Number Available: N/A

Deadlines: applications are submitted after each semester of full-time studies

  • Fall session: February 28th
  • Winter Session: July 31st
  • Summer Session: October 31st

Québec Perspective scholarships may be combined with Parcours scholarships and the Loans and Bursaries Program for Full-Time Studies.

Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship program, you must:

  • be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident
  • be considered a Québec resident
  • be studying in a targeted college or university progra
  • have completed a
    • full-time study term, if you attended school on a full-time basis
    • part-time study term, if you attended school on a part-time basis but were deemed a full-time student based on the requirements applicable to your situation
  • respect the maximum number of eligible study terms based on your level of education:
    • college level maximum number: 6 study terms
    • university level maximum number: varies from 6 to 8 for undergraduate studies (there are 5 eligible study terms for master’s studies and 15 for doctoral studies)

Not eligible for a Québec Perspective scholarship:

  • study terms before fall 2022
  • students who are beneficiaries of the Excellence Scholarships for Students in Education Programs program for the period covered by your application

How to Apply

You can submit your request online using your student financial assistance file or by mail. Applications submitted through your student financial assistance file are processed faster.

To complete your application, you must have the following information:

  • Your social insurance number
  • Your permanent code
  • The name of your program of study and your educational institution

Your bank details

If applying by mail, two forms may be required, which can be found with the information about applying for Québec Perspective Scholarships. Mail the application and any accompanying documents to the following address:

Note: Scholarship applications are not renewed automatically. You must complete an application after each full-time study term that you successfully complete in your program, until you complete your program or reach the maximum number of eligible study terms.
