OPSEU/SEFPO offers an annual scholarship of $1,500 in memory of Carol McGregor, a longtime union activist on disability rights issues, who died in 2006.

Extra consideration will be given to students who have participated in a collective action or community organizing on disability or human rights issues.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to dependents of OPSEU/SEFPO members in good standing who have a visible or invisible disability and are pursuing post-secondary education at a publicly funded university, community college, or trades program in Ontario.

To apply, fill out the 2025-2026 application form
Once completed, email the form to: scholarships@opseu.org by the deadline of July 31.
Required Documents
Applicants will be asked to provide confirmation of enrollment to a publicly-funded university, college, or trades program on official letterhead, provided by the enrollment services division of your school.
