Nicholas Leroux Memorial Bursary

The Nicholas Leroux Memorial Bursary is awarded annually to deserving undergraduate students entering or proceeding from one year to another of any program, to support students with disabilities in the attendant services program at Carleton University.

Recipients of the Nicholas Leroux Memorial Bursary must demonstrate financial need, must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada (landed immigrants or protected persons), and must meet OSAP’s Ontario residency requirements. A committee determined by the Awards Office and the Paul Menton Centre for Students with Disabilities will select the recipients of the award.  Endowed in 2007 by family and friends of Nicholas Leroux.

Criteria

Students must attend Carleton University and be registered with PMC.

Recipients must:

  • be able to demonstrate financial need;
  • must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada (landed immigrants or protected persons);
  • must meet OSAP’s Ontario residency requirements.

All applications must be submitted directly to Carleton Awards and Financial Aid, awards@carleton.ca, no later than the application deadline. A committee determined by the Awards Office and the Paul Menton Centre will select the recipients of the award. Endowed in 2007 by family and friends of Nicholas Leroux.
