The 35 Lions Club of Regina Scholarship is a non-renewable scholarship available to students who reside within Regina City or the Province of Saskatchewan and are enrolled in an undergraduate program at the University of Regina.

Criteria
In order to be considered eligible for the above bursary / award, the student must be:
- enrolled at the University of Regina;
- demonstrative of a disability. Preference will be given to students who have visual difficulty or mobility difficulty;
- within good academic standing (that being, the student has maintained a minimum cumulative grade point average [CGPA] of 65% on all courses completed at the time of application);
- within good academic standing (that being, the applicant is applying as a high school graduate and has a minimum Grade 12 average of 65%);
How to Apply
Clock the following link to log into your SAMS portal. Once you are logged in, you can apply using the online application by selecting “Apply for Award” from the “Other Actions” box in the top right corner of each award page.
Students are strongly encouraged to apply using the online application in SAMS. However, paper applications are available on the SAFA website. Along with the completed application form, applicants must submit:
- documentation and / or verification supporting their disability;
- a detailed summary, not to exceed one page, highlighting why he / she thinks he / she should be considered for the award based on the desire, challenges and difficulties while pursuing a post-secondary education;
Please note that since this is not a financial consideration award, you shouldn’t need to give any financial information to apply for this award. Any and all information to this award is located through the SAMS guest login.
