The Canada Disability Benefit is a monthly income supplement of up to $200/month, depending on your household income. Unlike traditional student financial aid, your parents’ income is not factored in.
You can apply for the Canada Disability Benefit if you are: Approved for the Disability Tax Credit;
- Between the ages of 18 and 65 · a Canadian resident with a Social Insurance Number (SIN) who has resided in Canada for at least 18 months and
- Your income is below the benefit phase-out amount per: https://www.canadadisabilitybenefit.ca/calculations
