Deloitte Canada’s Bloom Scholarship Program

The Bloom Scholarship Program is hosted annually by Deloitte Canada, and offers a one-time award to a full-time or part-time post-secondary student who self-identifies as a person with disabilities or neurodivergent. The Scholarship recipient will also have the opportunity to undertake a paid work term at one of Deloitte Canada’s offices.

Criteria

In order to be considered eligible for the above scholarship, students must be:

  • enrolled in post-secondary education in Canada (full-time or part-time);
  • en route to completing a diploma, undergraduate, or graduate program and graduating in 2028 or beyond;
  • eligible to work in Canada, and subsequently interested in completing a work term at Deloitte in Winter / Summer / Fall 2027;
  • demonstrative or self-identify as a person with a disability or neurodivergence (ie. Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyslexia);

Please note that students from Quebec are required to meet basic English proficiency levels to work for clients whose activities are outside of Quebec, and where the primary language is English.

Along with the completed application form, applicants must also submit:

  • A resume or curriculum vitae (CV);
  • A most recent, unofficial transcript;
  • A Letter of intent with a maximum length of 500 words, answering the following prompt: “How would this scholarship and work term impact your professional and personal journey?”;

With respect to the prospective job placement, the student may select up to two teams they would like to join in one of the following business areas:

  • Audit and Assurance: The student will work with collaborative teams to provide audit services and advisory to help our clients build a firm foundation and future
  • Strategy, Risk & Transactions: This team provides end-to-end advisory services during critical moments, including strategy, transactions, and risk management.
  • Tax & Legal: The student will join a team of professionals who offer tax structuring, advisory, and planning on local and cross-border issues.
  • Technology & Transformation: This team helps to shape businesses, and they help organizations across industries with digital transformation.
