The Joint Diversity Scholarship is open to post-secondary students in British Columbia who have worked to promote diversity awareness and acceptance in their communities.

Save-On-Foods is proud to have partnered with UFCW Local 1518 to establish a Joint Diversity and Training Trust to support and maintain a respectful and positive working environment. Their goal is to work collaboratively to promote diversity awareness and build strong, healthy and mutually beneficial relationships within the diverse communities that they serve.
Criteria
Applicants must:
- reside in British columbia
- be pursuing post-secondary education at an accredited institution within the province of BC in the Fall of 2024
- have promoted diversity awareness and acceptance in their community
Not eligible:
- Previous recipients of the Joint Diversity Scholarship
- Team members or team member’s family
How to Apply
Apply through the Save-On-Foods Joint Diversity Scholarship. You must log-in to their website to apply.
Applications include:
- Examples of how you have promoted diversity awareness and acceptance in your community
- Two letters of reference from individuals who can speak to the meaningful contributions you’ve made to your school and community as it relates to supporting and promoting diversity initiatives
- A copy of your most recent transcript
