The Roy Cooper Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student in Ontario who is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in a physical sciences discipline, and has a documented learning disability.
The Roy Cooper Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship offered by the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario (LDAO). This award honours the memory of Roy V. Cooper, a long-time volunteer and advocate within both his local LDA chapter and the provincial organization.

Criteria
In order to be considered eligible for the above scholarship, students must be:
- a full-time high school student during the 2025–2026 academic year, and graduating from an Ontario high school in the same year;
- accepted into a recognized postsecondary institution for the 2026–2027 academic year;
- entering the first year of a bachelor’s program in engineering or a physical sciences discipline;
Please note that the described physical sciences stream does not include social sciences or technology-focused programs
